Philippines Emergency: Farm Unit Hit by Typhoon

The women's farm of Hope Farm in the Philippines, located in Masbate, is being hit by a heavy typhoon.

Philippines Emergency: Farm Unit Hit by Typhoon

In the late afternoon of Monday (02) we received images and the message that our girls, from the female unit, are housed in only one quarter of the farm. The roof of the chapel was blown away by the high winds and the shelter house had several rooms damaged by water and wind.

Our missionaries, who are together with the hostess providing support, wrote:

“They are all in one room, because two rooms are already full of water and with the windows locked… water comes in from the sides of the house and comes from the floor too. Right now a volunteer told me that the lining of one of the rooms is almost falling. They are in the next room that the wind is not coming from the front. The men's farm is all right, I said to a sponsor. ” Message sent by Claudia, a missionary who arrived yesterday in Manila and still cannot go to the Farm because of the strong winds. "

Let us be in unity and prayer for our sisters and brothers in the Philippines.
