Open your heart to understand. Lk 9,43b, 45
“However, the disciples “did not understand these words; and they were afraid to ask him”[...] God's logic is always “different” to ours, as God himself revealed through the mouth of the prophet Isaiah: “My thoughts are not yours, and your way to act is not mine» (Is 55,8). For this reason, following the Lord always requires a profound conversion of man — of all of us — a change in our way of thinking and living, it requires that we open our hearts to listening, in order to allow ourselves to be enlightened and transformed inwardly”. (Pope Benedict XVI, Angelus, 23 September 2012).
